10 Pressing Questions From The Recent Episode of The Flash: Invincible
Action packed, hearth warming and full of twists and turns; Invincible turned to be another solid episode for The Flash series. With Central City swarming with lots of meta-humans from earth-two, Team Flash sure pulled out the big guns, sending a dimensional shock wave that incapacitates the earth-two hostiles. In the moment of the shock wave, we get to see how selfless a father our Earth-two Harrison Wells actually is, but I bet no one expected to the kind of ending we got. Wally got to know the real identity of The Flash in one of the must heart-pounding moments of this episode and at the end Zoom snuffs the life out of Barry’s dad in what is the episode’s most emotionally chilling moments. Here are 9 unanswered questions from The Flash: Invincible,
The look on Wally’s face says it all, his adopted brother, is The Flash and his having quite the shock over this. We have seen these two struggle to find a footing with each other and their relationship grow overtime with the brothers achieving mutual respect. For Wally to find out that Barry the brilliant CSI he knows, is same as the masked speedster he has come be so inspired by will sure shake things up a little bit for the show. This for sure will lead to strengthened bonds. With Wally already risking his life to assist The Flash in cleaning up Central City, who knows what these two can become, with the major secrets in their lives put aside.
With the leaks before this episode’s release, it may not have been a lot of shock for some, when Black Siren showed up. But her presence introduces a new dynamic, where Team flash has to take down the doppelganger of their beloved deceased friend. Cisco expressing his disgust said Black Siren is a poor imitation of Black Canary, but she appears to be way more powerful than her predecessor, also the team keeps her at separate confinement from the other captured meta-humans, just maybe there’s a conscious or unconscious effort to salvage Black Siren and make here a part of the team.
Fan theories have run wild over who the man in the mask on Earth-two actually is. One speculation is that that man is another version of Barry’s dad, Henry. With our Earth’s version deceased there’s a chance we’ll get to see Henry again on Earth two. This could turn out to be another very emotional moment for The Flash, if you can remember how touching the call between Barry and his mum went on his first visit to Earth-two.
Wally and Jesse make googly eyes at each other, there sure is some chemistry here, but will this growing relationship become what the fans already sense it could be? We saw Jesse blush at the mention of Wally saving The Flash, this was an added motivation to get closer to the guy she is already attracted to. And we know that Wally finds her intelligence to be awesome, as he said when they were locked up together, if there was anyone brilliant enough to break them out, it was Jesse. Despite all these, the greatest prospect of these two being together is that there could be a power couple and bring to the show a fresh kind of romance.
After Cisco and Caitlin try to fool Black Siren and fail, he impulsively uses his powers to create a force field to repel the earth-two scream queen. Although he fails on a second attempt, we get to see that Cisco could be as powerful as his Earth-two doppelganger, Reverb. Could this scene be a clue that Cisco would master his ability and stand beside his friend the Flash to face Zoom? This would be awesome to watch.
Wally and Jesse were hit by the speed force what powers this has given them is yet to be seen. Comic book fans know that these two are speedsters, but would that be the same for the TV series. In this episode Jesse asks Caitlin to run a test on her for the second time, but what could have prompted this? Did she notice a change that made her think she needs to have a test again? Should we take this as a sign that Jesse would get her speed before Wally?
Zoom allows Caitlin to return to Star Labs but it appears her stay with him has further wrecked her. She see him even when he’s not there, she constantly scared of what could happen next. Zoom let her go on the warning that he would destroy her and her friends, this has put her in a prison of fear even though she’s no longer with him. The Team tries to help Caitlin recover, but is it enough? Could it be that the she’s been hurt too much to return to being the vibrant Caitlin we all know?
3. How Was Zoom Able to Create a Portal From Earth-Two?
We’ve seen Zoom stuck on earth-two until Cisco creates a portal through which he’s able to return to our Earth. So how did Zoom create a portal and return to his Earth. Could it be one of the upgrades he gets from stealing the Flash’s speed? If so, what else can Zoom do that we don’t know of yet?
Barry clearly returned from the speed force with an extra dose of positivity. Our hero was in high spirit for most of the episode. His new found sense of invincibility gave his team cause to worry, as he went all out as The Flash with no fear of harm. He assured them that everything was fine, that the speed force was with them and so they couldn’t loose. Iris was beginning to give in to the idea that the Flash might actually be invincible at that time the most unexpected happened and his dad was abducted and killed.
Zoom told the Flash as he held on to Henry, the he would become evil once he sees his parent killed, as this was the fate that befell jay when he was younger. Despite our hero’s plea zoom kills Henry, a real sad moment, but could this the point at which Barry gets drowned by emotion having lost both parents, forgets his values and kills Zoom? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
